R&B Ramen N Bao

"Amended ***Got the chance to hit up R&B recently after hearing some solid buzz and having a serious craving for dumplings and lemme just say you should def stop by! This is a hidden gem w/o a doubt!.... located in a rather trendy lil shopping center that has a few other shops that seem to constantly be busy. The layout of the restaurant is a bit small but feels modern and along the vein of a traditional noodle house. Our waitress was very nice and attentive checking on us repeatedly throughout the meal so that was a plus and every looked clean and inviting. My company and I placed and order of the TFC (Taiwanese Fried Chicken) The spicy chicken and corn dumplings Scallion Pancakes And the pork soup dumplings... Lets start w/the TFC...wow was this a killer app to kick things off. Crunchy and flavorful while delivering on a bunch of fronts this one is a winner. My only knock might be that it was a bit salty, nonetheless it rly was a homerun. The scallion pancakes tend to be just the right kinda fried crispy sidekick that brought an added dimension to the rest of the food we ordered. When theyre not too greasy The spicy chicken dumplings were probably the only let down but simply because I felt they weren't spicy hot enough. The flavor was outstanding but for an extra $1.50 I could do w/o the hot chili dipping sauce. Now for the soup dumplings, The consume was clear and clean and the flavors were outstanding ...I definitely recommend getting the julienned ginger as thats what put these over the top for me. Bite a lil hole on top n let the steam out, dump some chili oil n ginger in there n slap ya self silly with flavor!! All in all this was one of the best meals of the year so far and I'll be sure to come back to check out the ramen being a noodler!*** Checked out the ramen and while the quality is very high on the ingredients I was not a big fan of the traditional styles they had because of one key ingredient menma (the fermentation on this one is not pleasant to me) and it's very over powering, will avoid from here on out. The braised beef soup is a standout here!!"

"Perfect place to go after church or for lunch on a Sunday. The meals were all delicious and comforting. I was so surprised on how well cooked and plated every dish was. Portions were very generous. Excelled with taste and service!"

"It was my first time here today and I must say that I was very impressed with everything. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was excellent! Our server, Aom, was wonderful. She made our experience there even better. I highly recommend the pork soup dumpling, papa pig bao, Taiwanese fried chicken and BB shrimps as appetizers. My boyfriend and I usually don’t finish our food but this was an exception given how delectable everything was. The interior is aesthetically appealing and gives a cozy/homey vibe."

"We really love this place - up beat, excellent food & service. The decor & architecture are awesome but it is on the brighter side so not the dimmer dining room feel. The dumplings are mouth watering - steamed & Fried. The portions are very generous - often requiring one of their cool totes for leftovers. Killer bubble teas - no alcohol. Not sure about BYOB."
