"Food - delicious. Service - amazing. Atmosphere - warm, cozy & inviting. Have passed this restaurant several times, but this is the 1st time we stopped in and it definitely won’t be the last. Pleasantly pleased. Highly recommend."

"I’ve been here a couple of times and this last time was a terrible experience. The restaurant seemed dirty and run down like a bad cafeteria. The potato skins were good. The chicken pot pie was honestly gross. It was as if they put in a blender and it was baby food. No discernible bits of actual food. The beef stew was not blended but did not taste good at all. And the fried chicken sandwich was not cooked properly, pink and goopy white material in the middle. We did not eat this at all. We would have complained to the waitress had we even seen her again. Seems to have gone way down hill. Would not recommend."

"Stopped here after a short hike. Pleasantly surprised at the quality of food. We had French onion soup, chicken pot pie and the meatloaf sandwich. All were very good. In a nice setting too. We sat next to the working fire place. There was another larger room overlooking the river as well. We will definitely come back."

"Started off with the chili and nacho chips and my wife had the French onion soup with cheese. They were both delicious. I had a fresh turkey club sandwich with shoe string potatoes and a sliced dill pickle , you could tell that the turkey was made fresh.my wife had the chicken pot pie which was very filling an full of chicken and vegetables"

"Outdoor patio and tables on deck overlooking back and river. Patio is covered. Parking on top area as well as down near river. Lobster bisque $8 Warm and looked like white broth consistency. French onion. $8 Good cheese. Beef broth ok. Used croutons. Cob salad large and presented well. $15 chicken salad with cranberries and walnuts. No walnuts nor cranberries. But ok. Service. Saw our wait staff 4 times. Took order for beer, order for food, filled water glasses. 1 1/2 hours later dropped off bill."
