"STAY CLEAR of this PLACE !!!! At check-in, there were 2 women, friendly. Arrived 5:30 pm, and had a concert to attend at Foxwoods at 7:30. Filled jacuzzi tub to clean it before using it. The tub would not shut off. Called the front desk. One of the women came to the room and tried to shut it off, but no luck. Told us to keep the filled and maintenance would be in at 10:30 PM. 10 minutes later the other women came to the room, with a screwdriver and also attempted to shut the tub off. Again no luck. Also said to leave it filled and running. As time was getting past us and the shuttle to Foxwoods for the concert was getting ready to leave one of the women held the shuttle for us. When arriving back at the hotel, after midnight, our key would not open the door to our room. A man at the front desk told me we were locked out for keeping the tub on. Trying to explain the happenings before leaving, the man became belligerent, saying we could not have our belongings or a refund as we were being thrown out for breaking the tub. Then he threatened to come over the counter and fight with the guest I was with. JUST INSANE. Unbelievable, I have never! I called 911 and the State Police came, we got our belongings. The Police Man said we could press charges, for in the State of CT hotels can not lock you out and keep your belongings from you. Which I will do, the process has already started. This man who works the desk, in the evening, at this hotel is one of the most belligerent people I have ever had the displeasure of meeting. My credit card was charged, which I have disputed with my card company. A copy of the Police report has been forwarded to my Credit card company."

"Do not go for this place due to it being 8 minutes away from Foxwoods, SAVE YOUR MONEY!! Upon arriving we wanted to turn back around as the pictures on Google look 100 times better but, we still decided to give it a chance. The hotel room smelt clean, but it 100% was not clean, it truly felt dirty. Not only was the carpet dirty but there was mildew on the ceiling in the bathroom with the wallpaper peeling off. On top of all this, we decided to go to bed, and at 2 AM we were abruptly awakened by the people in the room next door, we could fully hear their conversation, and same with the people stomping upstairs where we could hear everything, their conversation, and even their shower running. After being woken up for over an hour, we were truly annoyed and grossed out and couldn’t stand one more minute here causing us to leave. I truly would not recommend this place to anyone."

"Very clean. Night staff front desk was kind and friendly. Not terrible free breakfast. Decor was a bit odd. Wall coloring didn’t match the furniture and full laminate flooring in hotels is weird to me anywhere other than FL. We were just there one night for a place to sleep after a late dinner. Over all ok accommodations and way cheaper than Foxwoods."

"Didnt even get a chance to stay due to extremely rude staff. I had called a few days before my reservation to get a answer to a question and the staff wasnt giving a straight answer he didnt seem to have a answer. So i called back the next morning to see if a manager would be better help and the staff refused was rude and hung up the phone. I tried to call back several times and the staff would pick up and hang up the phone or would be rude or wouldnt say anything. Its like a angry young teenager is running the hotel but its a grown man. Whos having a temper tantrum. He does not need to work there. By the way rufuse to give me the name of the manager or his name so i could report him to the manager or the person running the hotel. So after all that i decided it would be best to cancel and stay elsewhere."

"Only reason I’m giving this place 2 stars is because of the great customer service from the main desk I think her name was Candace and the shuttle guy Rick who was great. Other than that the hotel room smelled musty and the walls were damaged. The a.c outlets could barely keep a plug in them as the plug fell out of 2 of them . The tipping point was the deluxe breakfast which I went to grab something at 10:30 am yet everything was put away. I went to the juice machine and it was electronically shut off. The service desk person was nice but said it was only available during breakfast. The thing is IT WAS BREAKFAST TIME. I’m not trying to wake up early on a getaway for a continental breakfast that is included in the hotel charge. I could see if it was noon time but it still is the morning . I ended up buying 2 nasty jimmy dean sandwiches that tasted worse than a school lunch breakfast. Seemed like a way for hotel to save money and bank on guests not waking up early so they can save on food costs. I didn’t bother complaining cause it’s corporate that are cheap and it’s beyond the employees control with the outdated rooms that have lamps and furniture from the 90s and wall outlets that barely work. Clearly people that own this hotel are not looking to have repeat customers. Since location is 5 minutes from Foxwoods they know someone will stay there. I included a picture of the phone in our room that looked like something out of Resident Evil just to give you an idea of the quality of this place."
