"Where ever you go, make sure it’s not Groton dental group. Groton Dental Group is the worst dental practice I have ever been associated with. I've had trouble with them since my first appointment. Dr. Ike wrote me a prescription for an antibiotic and when I brought it to the pharmacy, my pharmacist told me that the prescription was written out to a different person. She told me I needed two teeth removed on each side. I changed dentists at Groton Dental and came in for the extraction in April. Three teeth were taken out on one side and I was blindsided. When I returned for a cleaning (I love Erica, she is the only reason I stayed there). Dr. O asked me how I was and I told him that I was emotionally decimated. He fluffed that off and moved along. His interest is only in the clinical, not the patient. I still am without a partial on that side because the titanium screws were put in four months after the extractions because of their scheduling...it has been a nightmare. The day the screws were implanted, they assured me before I left the office that the prescription for antibiotics was called into CVS less than a half a block away. I was back and forth from CVS to their office for an hour and a half with blood dripping down the sides of my mouth. They never sent in the prescription until I showed up back at the office again. The day after I had the screws put into my jaw, I called and asked to speak to my oral surgeon, who travels to different practices. I was told that he would not be able to be contacted for two weeks and she had no way of contacting him. I told her to have him call me or leave a message for him. That was there months ago and I still have not gotten a return call. the front office has no clue of what they are doing and insist they are right. They tried to take an extra couple of hundred dollars from me, thinking I wouldn't notice. I did and it took weeks to get it fixed. I am embarrassed and ashamed to open my mouth because of the removed teeth. I isolate now...not a good thing for a senior. The titanium screws will not be uncovered until mid December which means I won't be able to have a partial put in my mouth until the beginning of February. Being without teeth for nine months is totally unacceptable and unethical. Yet that is not the end of the saga."
"Called twice and left a message with the receptionist to set up an appointment as a new patient. Was told both times I would receive a call back. I heard nothing. Obviously not too interested in getting new patients. Called elsewhere and they were more than happy to set me up. Glad I found out before I got into this office how uninterested they are in helping."
"Worst experience I’ve ever had. Had this appointment scheduled for 2 months now and confirmed the appointment twice. Left work early to get to my appointment today, checked In, waited 45 minutes until I went up and asked what’s going on and they said my doctor wasn’t in today. No one called me before hand or even told me when I came in. I’m so frustrated right now with this place. Never go here they are the most unprepared and unprofessional dentist office ive even been to."
"I was in for a filing and the Dr. and assistant were awesome. I was in and out quickly with no pain. I will say, I would have given 5 stars for the Dr. and assistant, however, the office staff told me 3 different times they would get back to me to schedule this appointment, but, they never did. It took me almost a year of me calling back to finally get my appointment. So, for this reason, I am only giving 4 stars."
"Excellent welcoming receptionist (Thanks Lisa). And the marvelous hygenist, Erica not only did a nice gentle cleaning, she build a lasting rapport, answered questions and made me feel comfortable. That morning, I was afraid to come in, but she put me at ease quickly. Glad I made it there .Totally positive experience."
