"Always a pleasant experience at this location. Store is clean, service is good, associates always friendly and helpful. Most important close to my home"
"Almost 4 months ago the Rite-Aid I formerly went to closed and I started going to this branch in Northford. Though I requested my scripts be transferred here somehow it didn't happen? Since that change a lot of my medications were sent to the alternate pharmacy where I was and I I found out there were 2 of them. I notified my doctors of this change early on to 1395 Middletown Ave. Store#10372. After having done so many more of my prescriptions still were getting lost. I spoke to the head pharmacist and staff concerning this only to be told I needed to go to Wahlgreens physically where I previously lived to pick up my prescriptions. They told me In order to correct this problem in the system I had to request for them to call Northford to make this change (which makes no sense at all.) I finally did track down the correct location where my meds were going to (it wasn't Wahlgreens.) Many were sent to the nearby Stop and Shop. I called Northford several times right from there ultimately reaching the head pharmacist (after relating my request and situation to his assistant who promptly brushed me off telling me he'd take care of it.) This didn't happen and I called back to speak with the him again. I told him where I was and requested that he make the call for this change. He never did. Instead he spoke to me like he didn't understand anything I was requesting though he told me he would call Stop and Shop then to confirm my new pharmacy of record. This didn't happen as I waited there with Stop and Shops pharmacist for the call from Northford to come through. This never happened. At that time I finally realized the Northford pharmacist had been lying to me all along just to get me out of his face. He nor any of his staff never called on my behalf and didn't make any efforts to locate my medications. Never tried to make these changes whenever I asked them. Their attitudes were disgusting. Though from early on I distinctly believed they were lying to me I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I did follow-up on whatever they told me. In the end yesterday I had my answer. After visiting my eye doctor I was shown where my critical glaucoma prescription was sent and received by Northford Rite-Aid where I am now. Northford was sandbagging and deliberately lying to me all along. They sent me on a wild goose chase just so I'd go away and leave them alone. Their motivation is to cut corners significantly lessening their work loads. I've been reading the numerous negative reviews posted here they've been doing the same to many other sickly customer's in dire need of their meds. They suffered having to go without experiencing unnecessary delays in their prescriptions and healthcare. One customer posted a serious problem with his depression medication. All this is egregious and inexcusable behavior. With all the Rite-Aid store closures to date Northford should be next..."
"I went into the store today to purchase a few items. I asked to use the bathroom and I was told coldly by two people at the pharmacy we don't have public bathrooms. Every CVS and every Walgreens I've been to always has a public bathroom. I will not give this store anymore business."
"I recently switched my pharmacy from East Haven Ride Aid to North Haven Walgreens and encountered a problem. Walgreens' staff told me that my prescription was not available after 4 days. Fortunately I called Norford Rite Aid and the pharmacist David Tran made a great effort and assistance to help get my prescription after a couple day. I really appreciated his effort and kindness to meet the needs of customers. The other staff were also helpful and friendly."
"There is a cashier that has worked there for decades. I don't know how when she's so rude. I've reported her before. The other day I chose to use self-checkout because she was carrying on a private conversation with a customer for at least 5 minutes after the customer checked out. I've also called corporate and the store about a non-working card reader that has been down for over a year, and it's still not fixed. I also call the pharmacy to run Goodrx coupons here prior to pickup. They refuse to take them in advance. Then they get mad when I show up and they have to re-enter the sale because of the coupon."
