"I've gotten bugs for my bearded dragon here for the past couple of years. They are decently priced and have a lot of knowledge about lizards (and other animals I'm sure). Would recommend over a big chain pet store."

"This is a great place to go if you have snakes like me that only eat live! they have some of the best stock ive gotten plus they even have isopods, now I can make my bioactive frog enclosure! The reason for the first lost star is because the enclosures the animals for sale are in are far below standards and definitely need some upgrades. As much as i get supplies here, I personally would go elsewhere to actually purchase an animal. Though I do want to point out the owner is incredibly nice! Edit: You absolutely deserve the 5 stars now you are such an amazing owner who certainly cares!! Cant wait to see you guys soon when i need more crickets and rats again I always need something haha"

"Went there to get a mouse. My boyfriend was with me and has owned several Rabbits. He was considering buying another one and picked up one he liked. He didn’t notice the sign that said not to pick up the Rabbits. The owner screamed at him really disrespectfully. It wasn’t what he said it was how he said it. You don’t yell at your customers. He yelled at a grown man like he was screaming at an unruly child.It was completely uncalled for. I no longer want to do business with this store. The owner is rude and unprofessional."

"We got fancy rats from them 1.5 years ago and while they're doing great, it really bothers me still that they were advertised as male rats, when they were clearly female. Rats reach sexual maturity at 5 weeks old, and it is VERY obvious when a rat is male. The sales people who were helping us were absolutely insistent they were male. You'd think a pet store selling animals would know better. I can tell you, definitively, that they're female. Do better."

"At first step into the store, seems like a great little mom and pop place for shopping in the aquatic/reptile realm. Once you walk down the aisle lined with small fish tanks completely overstocked I totally changed my mind. I myself am an owner of axolotls. An incredible species non the less extremely cute. When I saw this set up. Well I was floored. Between 8-12ct 3-4inch lotls housed in one tiny tank and no hides. Nipping each other any time they bumped (which was often given the incredibly small space they have) and multiple tanks were filled with them. You can clearly see missing limbs on a lot them which is caused by the nipping and EXACTLY why you do not house axolotls together until they are older, confirmed same gender, and the same size. I have such a deep love for axolotls and it really hurts to see them kept in conditions like this and I hope they realize they are horrible for trying to make a quick buck off of these poor creatures. On a separate note: While I was there for about half an hour, two separate customers came in, one returned a tortoise and the other a large fish(not sure the breed). Multiple dead fish were visible in different areas. As nice as it is to support mom and pop shops, don’t support shops that do not truly keep their animals in good conditions."
