"As a wedding professional and working in this industry now for about 8+ years I can tell you that we have worked with many venues across Connecticut and done hundreds of weddings all over the place. Owenego is one of our favorite venues to work with because the entire staff is super friendly and welcoming ( even to the vendors who are working the event, this is not the case with some of the other venues we have worked with unfortunately ), The grounds are so well cared for and maintained and the venue itself is beyond beautiful and sunsets are amazing!! If you're a couple who is considering getting married here I will tell you that you won't be disappointed!"

"My husband and I got married at the Owenego in May and it was a dream come true. Pat, John, Meg and their entire team were the most incredible venue hosts, and kept the day running so smoothly (even when things with outside vendors went sideways - they were there to save the day). The Owenego is an incredibly special place and was exactly what we wanted for a classic but laid back wedding on the shoreline. The gardens, the charm, and the stunning views made for the most spectacular day - it rained and it was still as gorgeous as I could have ever hoped for. The planning process is also a delight, as the team was always happy to hop on the phone to talk through a question or a nuance, unbelievably patient, thoughtful, and genuinely cared about making it a special day for us and our guests. Our vendors were always delighted when they heard we were getting married at the O, which was a sign that we were in great hands!"
