"Just had the greatest experience with Jenna who spent lots of time helping us find the right harness for our pooch. We usually come for flowers and mulch but this was a brand new (and great) experience for us. Agway/smithland continues to slay!"
"I am so pleased with my experience at Smithland. I cannot say enough. The customer service is truly superior; above and beyond my expectations. I rescue and rehabilitate feral cats. They are very particular about their litter, so when I found this litter that works well AND they accept; I was thrilled! Tidy Cats Pure Nature is the best litter I have ever used. Unfortunately, it has been discontinued by the manufacturer, Purina. I am grateful that Smithland had a few bags left in stock. This purchase was really important to me because it allows for a smoother transition to a new litter. There also were some logistics to figure out, as I live near Plymouth, MA. Thank you to all of the associates at Smithland for making this happen. I would like to extend special thanks to: Kan Tanabe; store manager of the North Haven, CT location. Ghost and I are eternally grateful for your efforts. Sincerely, Wendy Godfrey"
"Agway is absolutely amazing. It is 1 of 2 companies in North Haven that I'll buy supplies at (thats not a corporation). If you have a green thumb then give it a visit before you head over to Home Depot. The selection outshines them drastically and they have better grade suoplies. It is also a 5 minute drive away from Universal Drive (I91 exit 9). For anyone who is further advanced with growing your plants of choice, let me assure you that they can handle all of your needs without paying Amazon prices, or having to wait for a shipment. The staff is also very friendly and knowledgeable. Agway is located around the corner from the 40 connector on State Street. If you take I-91and exit off exit 10 (which turns into the 40 connector)immediately followed by exit 1 - first exit about 1 mile down, then you are basically there. Spring is around the corner. Plan for a beautiful garden by stopping by and doing some window shopping, ask some questions, and prepare for another great harvest."
"I love Agway for pet supplies and all my WILDLIFE life supplies. They are always helpful and knowledgeable. They sell products that are made in the USA which is very important to me as i dobt buy Asian products. The sales manager Jen told me she will help me find a wet cat food that is made here. And the best thing is Agway always collects for shelters and I can being my dogs in the store with me. And they do accept coupons!! Shopping is always more fun with your DOGS!!"
"The ladies that work there are very nice and give great customer service. Very helpful in finding what you need. I decided to go check the place out because of all the great reviews and I chose to go here with the intention of purchasing a bale of timothy hay for my guinea pigs and other items. The hay is very poor quality. It was 90% yellow and not soft. My piggys won't eat it. I am very disappointed, and have to throw it all away because they're having none of it. My rabbit doesn't want any either. (I've received bales in the past from other places, that that are yellowish on the outside, but the inside is green and soft. But once I cut this bale opened, the inside was still yellow and hard. It has just a few green pieces of hay) I am not sure how old it was and if it's even timothy hay. I thought I would get great quality hay here, but please don't bother shopping here for bales of hay for your animals, unless they like hard and yellow."
