"I'm only saying two stars because of the sandwich making area which I come to on my lunch break everyday. This one lady said they don't do grilled chicken on a sub, I did have a little attitude only because I am a type one diabetic and can't wait forever for my food. and said that's been that way forever, but I've been coming here for months and never had an issue. So instead she "cooked" the chicken tenders, while a different employee was making the sandwich I realized that the chicken was raw. I'm very glad I noticed it or else I would have been very sick, or possibly die. Other than that everyone else is very friendly and the store is clean. But there should be accomodations and not a argument between a employee and a paying customer."

"UPDATE: I forgive Big Y for the situation I wrote about below. The cleanliness of Big Y is way more important than occasional overcharges. I tried Torringford Stop & Shop, but was disgusted by a slob employee handling vegetables, so I'm back to shopping at Big Y. ORIGINAL POST: Big Y is generally a good store, but watch out. This photo was taken Dec 28, 2023. The sign is posted directly below 115 oz jugs, but the savings are applicable only to the 92 oz jug. Hopefully this was an accident. Read signs closely and check your receipt."

"Everytime we buy fruit you never know what you are going to get. I already told you about the watermelon being really bad...now we bought a cantaloupe that was black on the inside and the following week we bought a loaf of Natures Own No Sogar bread and it was moldy and it wasn't even expired until one week later. I also sent an email to the bread company stating it was moldy and had plenty of shelf life."
