"Stayed for a night to go to a wedding. I wasn’t super happy with the customer service beforehand. But overall the stay was great and made up for that small hick up. I contacted the inn weeks in advance requesting early check in. I also called beforehand when I got a reminder email. I got serious attitude when I called beforehand and apparently no one noticed my request. I know a request is a request especially with early check in, but I didn’t need the attitude. So I was a little guarded coming in for check in but I was pleasantly surprised. I was greeted by a super nice front desk and given a warm cookie. The room was gorgeous and the lobby still had holiday decorations that were so pretty. At check out my husband and I were slow moving, they graciously checked us out and gave us the extra 30 to get ourselves together. Overall a really great stay and if we find ourselves up here again this will be our first pick."
"Loved this sweet Inn! It was set in the perfect location to drive to the adorable town of Litchfield! We were only there one night, but it will be a pleasant memory for years to come! Breakfast was amazing, and the staff friendly and helpful. The robes in the room added a special comfort touch, and the view was so pretty! Very clean, too! I will absolutely stay here again when I travel from Georgia to see my NE family! Thank you!"
"My hotel stay was exceptional. Impeccable service, spotless rooms, and a delightful atmosphere. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring a comfortable experience. The amenities surpassed expectations, adding a luxurious touch. Convenient location and reasonable pricing make it a top choice. Highly recommend for a memorable stay."
"We stayed at the Litchfield Inn for New Years Eve.. it was pleasant enough. Here are the Pros; Inn is clean and pleasant (seems updated) Breakfast was good with plenty of options They had champagne left out for NYE in the concierge room-but not advertised-?? They had cookies,coffee/tea available and refrigerators in room. Easy check in and ice machines etc Games (board) available in all common areas Con’s; When we checked in; they put us on bottom floor and screens were visibly broken and windows unlocked? (We did move upstairs and that was good). Why are screens teared and broken? They advertise fire pits-and there are two-but neither working... It was NYE and we booked here to enjoy specifically after dinner.. lady at desk said they had no propane??? Not acceptable…(Don’t advertise this if you don’t have) They have one area inside with a gas fireplace inside (but limited seating around this) and another off main lobby (electric). But the one off lobby is barely visible and gives off zero heat.. Beds could be more comfortable.. just ok There was no service.. at all.. one person at desk.. no one else there.. it’s self serve Overall the experience was fine, but if they had a bar or restaurant; that would be better.. and if they advertised what they offer “as true”; that would be better. Not a fan of false advertising and for this reason I won’t be back.."
"Loved this B&B as a midway point to my travel plans. Very cozy, festive, and welcoming staff. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. It’s got the charm of an old colonial but with modern amenities which makes this an A+ I’ll definitely recommend this to family and friends especially since it’s so close to get to from NYC."
