Welcome to The Salvation Army Employment Plus, located at 19 Liverpool Street, Kawerau, New Zealand. As an establishment, point of interest, and store, we are dedicated to providing assistance and support to over 120,000 families and individuals in need each year. Our range of services includes budgeting advice, food and clothing assistance, life skills programs, and other comfort and support.

At The Salvation Army, our mission is centered around caring for people, transforming lives, and reforming society. We are proud to announce that our Territorial Commander has approved several important appointments, ensuring the continuation of our impactful work. The High Council chamber recently served as a sacred place of prayer, further emphasizing our commitment to our mission.

We take pride in fostering inclusivity, as delegates from diverse ages, cultures, and backgrounds actively participated in our recent conference, Thought Matters 2023. This year, we are thrilled to announce our keynote speaker, who will undoubtedly inspire and motivate attendees.

Child poverty reduction remains a pressing issue, and we have invited politicians to explain their strategies in addressing this concern in our upcoming event, 'Pressing Issues.' Additionally, we are actively engaging with social policy and parliamentary units to highlight the importance of jobs, incomes, and tax in this election.

Looking ahead to the future, we are excited to share the news of upcoming appointments, approved by our Territorial Commander, which will come into effect in January 2024. These appointments will contribute to the continued success and impact of our institution.
