With almost 70 years of experience, Lattey Group has been instrumental in building infrastructural, capital, and community assets throughout New Zealand.

One of our notable achievements includes providing innovative solutions for a challenging seismic strengthening project. We installed screw piles under an existing concrete structure, ensuring its stability and safety. Additionally, we have invested in the future by doubling capacity, reducing costs for clients, and creating more job opportunities in the Levin area.

Lattey Group's journey began in 1946 when Hawke's Bay Asphalts Ltd was founded. Over the years, we established ourselves as leaders in the concrete manufacturing industry under the name P.B. Lattey Ltd. Our expertise in bridge construction has connected communities and facilitated economic development in Hawke's Bay.

Today, Lattey Group is not just about heavy lifting but also about smart thinking. In 2018, we finalized plans to build a new 4,500 square meter precast plant in Levin, allowing us easier access to the booming Wellington construction market and reducing costs for our clients. Our commitment to finding quicker and more efficient ways of working has made us the preferred infrastructure contractor for important local government and private construction projects across New Zealand.

We are also passionate about making a positive impact on rural communities. Many farms in the back blocks of Hawke's Bay remain isolated due to damage to smaller bridges. As a responsible corporate citizen, we strive to connect these farms by undertaking bridge restoration projects.

To further enhance our services, we are delighted to announce the appointment of Mark Hook as our Chief Executive Officer. Mark brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the role, ensuring the continued growth and success of Lattey Group.

Lastly, we are proud to be associated with the Waiaroha reservoir and educational center, which has created a tranquil green space in central Hastings. Lattey Group was entrusted with producing precast panels for the walkways, contributing to the overall beauty and functionality of the facility.
