Amana Christian School

Welcome to Amana Christian School, an interdenominational independent Christian school located in Mosgiel, New Zealand. Situated on the stunning Taieri plains and surrounded by the notable Saddle Hill and Maungatua Mountain range, our school provides a Christ-centered education for children and teenagers in the Taieri and wider district community.

Established in 2001, Amana Christian School is committed to instilling strong moral principles and values in our students. We believe in the quality of being honest and firm in one's moral beliefs, and strive to develop these qualities in each child within the context of a Christian family environment.

As a composite school, we offer full Primary and High School education from Year 1 to Year 13, catering to all school-age children from first-year new entrants to the school leaving age of 18. Our dedicated staff are passionate about nurturing the God-given abilities of each child and helping them reach their full potential.

The Government's Education Review Office (E.R.O.) report for December 2018 commended our school for its special Christian character, which is central to our curriculum and evident in the relationships between students and staff. Students who spoke with E.R.O. expressed their positive experiences at our school, describing it as safe, friendly, and enjoyable for learning. Parents are well-informed about our curriculum, including its Christian focus.
