"Falls Retreat opened the restaurant for our group after our team building at the Battery Site. The restaurant was warm & comfortable, the welcome on arrival friendly but most of all the food was amazing - fresh and delicious. We only had a short window to enjoy the atmosphere, however the team worked within our timing constraints without hesitation. Totally recommend for any large groups!"

"Had the most amazing meal at The Falls Retreat, situated in Karangahake Gorge. Amazing ambience coupled with amazing staff and truly out of this world, chefs. The food is truly memorable and I will eventually work my way through the menu next time I return. "Went there for a family birthday lunch, so didn't experience the accommodation. However, the food was plentiful, original, tasty, and well presented. The service was outstanding and the location is awesome, with bush and waterfalls nearby as well has some historic walks etc. Highly recommend this place."
