"Purchase was minor. Wanted 1.5m of crystaline 25mm pipe for waste from caravan. Told by assistant "only sold by the meter". How much a meter then I asked? Confident reply "about $5 ". That's fine" I say " but just cut at 1.5m as I have no purpose for the rest. He does so and then looks the item up on the computer...not $5 meter but $12 plus GST per meter. So the $5 per m pipe cost me $28 and a few cents. Guess where my next bathroom won't be coming from?"
