For corporate clients, Dyers House is an ideal base for business. We offer three bedrooms, free wireless internet, and a sitting room that can be used for informal meetings. Our conservatory is also well-suited for larger meetings. Additionally, we are conveniently located just 10 minutes away from the city centre by car, making it easy to access business hubs.
Built over a century ago, Dyers House has been modernised while still maintaining its Edwardian heritage. You can enjoy the charm of a bygone era while enjoying all the comforts of contemporary living. The White Room, in particular, offers a romantic setting for a special occasion.
Dyers House is also the perfect backdrop for wedding photography, and our conservatory provides an ideal setting for small wedding receptions. We have three spacious luxury bedrooms, all featuring en-suite bathrooms and all the comforts you need for a wonderful stay.
Our gracious hosts and gracious home have been described as a beautiful place to stay. The rooms are located on the ground floor, opening onto a lovely garden and a charming patio. Barry and Angela will go above and beyond to ensure your stay is exceptional, and you may even leave feeling like you've made special friends. Our breakfast will transport you to Europe with its delicious offerings, and there are plenty of tasty snacks available in your room.

"Overall: lovely owners and great rooms but very overpriced. We ended up staying here by chance as there was an event on and almost all other accomodation in Christchurch was fully booked. Barry and Angela were warm and extremely accommodating by being able to get a room ready for us at such short notice (arrived close to 6pm) - a massive thank you from us for that. Parking was a bit of an issue as it is a single driveway, so if there are other guests you may need to play musical cars to get out. The rooms are spacious with high quality bedding and pillows, and the bathroom is akin to that from a 5-star hotel. And therein lies the problem: at the time if writing, a stay at a 5-star hotel like the Sudima will cost about $230 compared to $395 here, and the Sudima comes with more amenities. Dyers House is in a nice location and run by a lovely couple, but tough to recommend at that price. The review was going to be 3 stars, but I am adding 1 for their cat Eric who was a delight and a star in his own right!"

"I do not recommend if you have allergies. Ange and Maz are warm and welcoming, but failed to disclose that their property has a cat in their listing. My wife is allergic to cats and got hives after we checked in. It was our honeymoon, so having to rework things caused some complications. Given all of the circumstances, we asked Ange and Max to consider a refund, but they declined. Disappointing overall."
