"This was an ideal location as we had a function just along the same road. However when i booked for wednesday 22 march i was asked to pay in full $150 as they had been burnt before. Unfortunately the morning of the 22 my partner woke with a very swallen eye. (cystitis) so we were unable to attend the function and had to cancel our accomodation. i have since been in contact with cheriton House asking if they can deduct the deposit and reimburse the rest . they don’t answer txt msg or phone . i’m very disappointed as we had a legitimate reason to cancel. and still no refund. THIS IS VERY POOR ON THE MANAGERS PART TO KEEP $100% of our money. We will not recommend this money hungry place !!"

"Quiet BnB but breakfast a bit stingy. Expecting 4 slices of bread and 250ml of milk to last for 3 breakfasts is stretching thing a bit."
"Very nice place to stay if you plan to attend the Fielddays at Mystery creek or do day trips to Raglan or Waitomo Caves. Very nice and well maintained gardens with a sun terrace which I loved. It was a great place to stay in."
