Leamington Playcentre

Welcome to Leamington Playcentre, located at 35 Thompson Street, Cambridge, New Zealand. At Leamington Playcentre, we offer a unique and inclusive early childhood education experience for both children and their parents or caregivers.

Unlike traditional schools or daycare centers, at Playcentre, parents are actively involved in their child's learning journey. This creates a special bond between parents and children, and allows for a more holistic approach to education.

Our play-based curriculum provides children with the opportunity to learn and explore in a fun and safe environment. We believe in nurturing the curiosity and creativity of our tamariki (children), allowing them to learn about themselves and the world around them.

At Leamington Playcentre, your child will have the chance to engage in a wide range of activities. From exploring nature and building sandcastles, to baking and cooking, our daily activities are designed to stimulate your child's imagination and promote their development.

One of the unique aspects of Playcentre is the mixed age play. This means that your child will have the opportunity to interact with children of different ages, learning valuable social skills such as communication, sharing, and empathy.

Our Playcentre parents bring a diverse range of skills, interests, and cultural backgrounds, enriching the learning environment for all children. Lifelong friendships are often formed among families who come together at Playcentre.

We invite you to visit us at any time during the year. You are entitled to three free visits, so you can see firsthand what we offer and meet our friendly community. We would love to meet you and your family!
