Welcome to Gunworks, located at Christchurch, Old West Coast Road, 469. We are an establishment that holds a special place in the hearts of many, as we remember Robbie Tiffen, a beloved member of our team who passed away on October 17th, 2018. Robbie was not only an incredibly talented individual but also a valuable asset to the shooting community.

For years, Robbie and I worked side by side, building a highly successful business here at Gunworks. Even after his departure, our dedicated team, consisting of Grant, Keith, Bill, and Renelle, has continued to provide the same exceptional service and products to shooters in New Zealand and beyond. We are immensely grateful for your ongoing support.

Gunworks takes pride in our history of innovation. We were the first in New Zealand to design and manufacture overbarrel sound suppressors, which we then made available for sale to hunters and shooters in the 1990s. Today, our overbarrel suppressor design serves as the foundation for many suppressors seen on guns throughout New Zealand.

With two full-time specialized gunsmiths, Gunworks is equipped to handle all your firearm needs. Our retail shop originally started as a workshop store, holding parts, gun accessories, and testfire ammo, powder, and projectiles. However, we have now expanded our range to include a comprehensive selection of hunting and shooting accessories, all of which can be conveniently purchased online, over the phone, via email, or by visiting our shop during working hours.

We understand that Robbie touched the lives of countless individuals and had a wide network of connections. Unfortunately, his funeral had to be private, but for those who were unable to attend, we have provided links to the three parts of the service on our website.
