At Native Timber Solutions, we pride ourselves on showcasing the complete process from salvage to showroom. Our first step is the salvage process, where we carefully pry up Rimu sarking, ensuring to check for any defects and packing it ready for transport. This meticulous approach ensures that only the finest timber reaches our store.

Our state-of-the-art machinery operates at full noise as we plane Oregon boards. Oregon timber boasts exceptional characteristics, including a visually stunning grain. Not only is it lightweight, but it is also incredibly strong, making it a popular choice among our customers. We have the capacity to comfortably dress timber up to 550mm wide or 200mm thick, catering to a wide range of project needs.

Exciting news! We have recently received a package from our friends at Natural House Co. This product perfectly complements our Rimu tongue and groove flooring. If you are interested, feel free to ask us about receiving a sample of our flooring, which will include a sample of the Java Classic Oil or Java High Solid. We are thrilled to showcase our latest accomplishment - a stunning Kauri slab after sanding with wedges in. The table top displays breathtaking grain and color, truly showcasing the beauty of this stable timber. Currently, it is on its way to Auckland to gain some legs and receive its finishing touches. Kauri is highly regarded for its versatility and is particularly ideal for flooring projects.

Starting off the year with a bang, we are currently working on our first major project - transforming a Kauri slab into a magnificent table top. To ensure its stability, we are carefully routing in three wedges/butterflies to control any potential movement. This meticulous attention to detail guarantees a flawless end result.
