Welcome to Alex Mortlock - Clinical Psychologist, located at 20 Gamblins Road, Christchurch, New Zealand. As a registered clinical psychologist since 2010, I am dedicated to providing comprehensive assessment and treatment services for adults aged 18 and above.

My approach is centered around helping individuals gain a deeper understanding of the factors contributing to their challenges. Through evidence-based techniques, I assist clients in managing difficult thoughts and emotions, developing new problem-solving skills, improving relationships, and clarifying values and priorities. My ultimate goal is to empower individuals to take action and create a more meaningful and fulfilling life.

Having received my training in clinical psychology at the esteemed University of Canterbury, I am well-versed in evidence-based approaches for mental health assessment and treatment. My work is firmly grounded in psychological science, with a particular emphasis on the interplay between emotion, cognition, and motivation.
