"DO NOT BOOK. MOTEL HAS BEEN SOLD. Upon arrival found out from the Motel next door that Christchurch Motel had been sold to a Fishing company. Neither us nor our travel agent had been informed by the previous owners about the sale or potential sale, but they more they more than happy to take our money when we booked. Now the fun begins to get our money back."
"I have booked one unit at this motel, there were more than one available at time of booking. After a whole month later, I received a message today asking me to cancel the booking because it is no longer available. I still have plenty of time to book elsewhere, at a higher rate though. It didn't bother me much but when I asked for a reason, was it flooded or overbooked, I wanted to know, there was never an answer. It feels like me, a customer who made booking, don't deserve to know what happened on the place I paid for."
