Located in Hamilton on Grey Street, our institution is dedicated to bringing healthcare back to the place you call home. Since 1988, our vision has been to provide essential services to individuals and their families, even under all Covid-19 restrictions.

At Healthcare NZ, we understand the importance of feeling a sense of belonging and being in a place where you can manage your health and well-being. Haukāinga, which means home, represents that place where we watched our whānau (family) grow up and where neighbors look out for one another. It's the place we'd rather be when it comes to our health.

We offer a variety of services to support you or your loved ones. Our Community and Rehabilitation services provide home support with the objective of enabling maximum independence through high-quality and expert support. We also provide on-call, 24/7 in-home nursing services, personalized to care for your individual needs. ACC nursing is available for those with approved ACC injuries.

In collaboration with Geneva Community Living, we have formed NZCommunity Living, an organization dedicated to supporting people with disabilities in New Zealand. Additionally, our expert and confidential support helps individuals overcome mental health challenges, as 1 in 4 Kiwis face these obstacles.

For individuals with disabilities or autism, we offer specialist positive behavior support for them, their whānau, and support services. Our team of psychologists and counselors at Gains are dedicated to supporting your mental health and wellbeing needs. We also provide programs that help parents, caregivers, and whānau understand autism and develop skills to support their loved ones.

Our Social Services aim to support people in remaining in their communities or reintegrating back into them. We also connect individuals to instant medical expertise and emergency ambulance support when and where it's needed. Furthermore, we provide temporary and short-term contract Nursing Staff and Healthcare Assistants throughout New Zealand.

Through our partnership with Private Care NZ, we can offer affordable privately funded health and wellness support packages in the comfort of your own home. With our latest innovation, you have the option to view, use, or share it, giving you control over your healthcare journey.

As a committed Te Tiriti o Waitangi partner and through our partnerships with local iwi, government, and community health organizations, we support thousands of New Zealanders in nearly every corner of Aotearoa with our comprehensive home and community support services. Our team of around 7,500 skilled and trained health professionals work tirelessly to ensure everyone has equal access to healthcare at home.

During severe weather events, it is normal to have an emotional response, whether directly or indirectly affected. We understand that these emotions can affect people of all ages in different ways. We provide resources and support to help individuals cope with intense and confusing thoughts, feelings, physical reactions, or behaviors that may occur during or after such events.

We would also like to take a moment to remember Ken Douglas, one of New Zealand's most well-known trade union leaders, who recently passed away. Ken was special to many of our senior staff members, and he won't be forgotten.
