Welcome to Cancer Society Taranaki, located at 71 Lorna Street in New Plymouth, New Zealand. As an establishment focused on health and well-being, we are here to support individuals and their families who are affected by cancer in the Taranaki region. We are proud to be a part of the Central Districts Division of the Cancer Society.

At Cancer Society Taranaki, we understand the challenges and vulnerabilities that come with a cancer diagnosis. As we transition into a post-Covid-19 world, we want to assure our clients and visitors that masks are no longer mandatory at our centers. However, we respect individual preferences and if you feel more comfortable wearing a mask or having our Supportive Care team wear one during home visits, we will gladly accommodate your needs. Please note that masks are still required in hospital or health provider settings.

Our mission is to provide support and assistance to anyone affected by cancer, regardless of the circumstances. If you or your loved ones require support, please connect with our local center. Whether it's emotional support, practical assistance, or information, our friendly team is here to help.

When it comes to transportation, clients and visitors using our Cancer Society shuttle or Volunteer Driving Service do not need to wear masks. However, if you prefer to wear one, you are more than welcome to do so.

We are thrilled to announce that group sessions have now resumed, and our massage and therapy services are available. Please contact us for more details and availability.

The Taranaki Cancer Society has been serving the community for the past 80 years. Our modern and eco-friendly center in New Plymouth is conveniently located near Mount Taranaki, providing a serene and peaceful environment for our clients.
