This documentation allows vehicles such as Motorhomes, Vans, Horseboxes, and Cab/Chassis to be re-rated to a higher Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM) with increased axle weights. To enable your vehicle to be re-rated, we require information from you. Each vehicle is assessed individually, so please complete the form available on our website and email it to us along with the requested photos and weights. Our team will assess your vehicle against our database of approvals to determine the maximum weights possible for your specific vehicle. It's important to note that all axle components, including the Axle, Suspension, Rims, and Tyres, need to have sufficient ratings to cover the new weights. In some cases, you may need to replace your rims and tyres with higher-rated items for the best outcome. Contact us to discuss the available options.

Please be aware that if your GVM is increasing from 3500 kg or less to over 3500 kg, your vehicle will now require COF inspections every 6 months. This is an important consideration for compliance with New Zealand regulations.
