"Bed and pillows extremely comfortable, especially when compared to public. Room was nice and private. However as far as food goes, this hospital really need fo get with the programme as far as the latest info on nutrition goes. They’re still following a ‘‘Heart Foundation recommended diet’, which means their meals have practislly zero fat, even healthy fats like olive oil or avocado, nuts or seeds would add to the satiety factor. There are also *no* balanced breakfast options that offer any protein or carbs (ie. brand, eggs). It’s pure carbs/cardboard (toast, cornflakes etc) I was sitting there left feeling half starved as a result, and found myself far bettter fed at Chch Public Hidpital Perhaps her a more modern doticiab on board"
