In light of the current situation, we have made special arrangements for patients experiencing symptoms related to COVID-19, cold, or flu. These patients will either be seen in their car or in a designated room at the rear of our surgery. Upon arrival, we kindly request that you remain in your car and contact our receptionist via phone. If you do not have a cell phone, please use the intercom on the front door and refrain from entering the reception area.

At Southside Health, we prioritize the convenience and comfort of our patients. However, we are currently experiencing a shortage of doctors. Please refer to our News Page for updates on this matter. Additionally, we kindly ask for one week's notice for repeat prescriptions to ensure timely assistance.

We understand that emergencies can cause interruptions in our doctors' schedules, leading to potential delays. We appreciate your understanding in such situations. However, we also urge patients who have multiple issues to discuss during their appointment to book adequate time. Each appointment with our GPs is scheduled for 15 minutes, and it is essential to make the most of this time. To assist you, we recommend preparing a list of topics you wish to discuss with your doctor. In cases where the GP feels that there is too much to cover within the allocated time, they may request a follow-up appointment to ensure thorough care. Please note that a double appointment will incur twice the cost of a 15-minute appointment.
