"Was here for a meal on the evening of Wednesday 17th May with work colleagues. Was very keen to try a culture of food that I had not had the past. The young fella taking our orders and bringing our plates were courteous, pleasant and polite. Loved the food. I had the lamb shank on rice while my colleague had Chicken and rice dish and a Naan. Accompaniments were excellent and tastes of everything was very refreshing. Servings were more than generous and it certainly is what I would consider to be value for money. I would most certainly be happy and willing to come back here again should I next be visiting Christchurch. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"
"We devoured the chicken skewer with naan and lamb shank meal. The meal came with salad, garlic and mint dip. Ordered chicken curry as well (that tasted nothing like Indian curry), that was so good. The doogh though, is worth the extra mention. Doogh is the version of laban or ayran to some countries / cultures. A must try! We went back a week later to satisfy another bout of craving."
"Came here at 5pm, food slightly came a bit longer. The kebabs (skewers) are soft and juicy as expected for Persian meals. Ghorma Sabzi is more of beans stew than curry, and not much of meat. Service needs more attentiveness as i had to approach the counter and ask if i needed to order at the counter or at the table. Overall, great food."
"Good food and great service. The chef’s special Maheecha is a must try for Lamb lovers. Also their kebabs are tasty as well. But haven't tried their curries."
"Came here at 5 pm and it took 30 minutes for the foods to come. Despite the long wait, the foods and service are really good. The foods came at the same time and they taste delicious :) Supermix kebab on rice: Our favorite is the koobideh. It is soft and slightly spicy. The chicken has nice crunchy edges. Our least favorite is the tefka, the meat is quite tough and isn’t as flavorful as the koobideh. Ghorma Sabzi: It is a quite interesting curry. The curry isn’t as heavily flavored as other curries I have previously tried. The meat pieces are tender but there aren’t many that are given. The beans are soft."
