At Anxiety Associates Clinic, we understand the importance of privacy and autonomy in the healing process. We believe that insight into the presenting issue is key to effective treatment. Our clinic specializes in a range of conditions and presentations, including anxiety disorders such as Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder, Phobic Disorder, PTSD, OCD, and other anxiety problems. We also provide treatment for depressive disorders, ADD/ADHD, insomnia, grief, burnout/stress, and various other DSM IV diagnostic conditions.

In addition to our clinical services, we offer civil forensic reports for insurance companies and ACC, including independent medical examinations and psychiatric evaluations. While we do not typically participate in court appearances, we are dedicated to providing accurate and comprehensive assessments.

Dr. Anthony Asteriadis, our experienced psychiatrist, has been practicing medicine in the psychiatric field since the early 1990s. He is recognized by the MCNZ and the College of Medicine of SA, and is an affiliate of the RANZCP. Dr. Asteriadis continuously updates his knowledge through attending local and international conferences, professional reading, peer review groups, and other professional activities. His commitment to ongoing learning ensures that he can provide the best possible care to those who seek his help.

For emergencies or crises, we recommend reaching out to the Crisis Team of the local CMHC through Telecom 018. We work closely with GPs, psychologists, counselors, and other healthcare professionals, so if you have been referred by one, we will liaise with them to ensure comprehensive care. Self-referrals are also accepted, although we prefer to coordinate with your GP.

We offer appointments on weekdays, and previously booked appointments are preferred. For your convenience, we accept payment via Eftpos, Visa, and MasterCard. Some medical insurance companies may cover a portion of the costs, so please check with your provider.

Our clinic is conveniently located with on-site parking available, although demand may vary. The building is equipped with a lift for easy access. We are just a couple of hundred meters from the Motorway, about 500 meters from Newmarket Railway Station, and a few meters from a bus stop.
