Welcome to Ros Munro Psychology, a private practice located in Kingsland, Central Auckland. Led by Ros, a registered Doctor of Clinical Psychology, our institution is dedicated to providing friendly and professional support to individuals seeking psychological assistance.

Our range of services includes psychological assessment, individual therapy for young people (aged 13 ) and adults, support for parents and other important whanau members, consultation to clinical services, governmental agencies, and schools, as well as professional supervision. We offer evidence-based treatments such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Systemic Family Therapy.

We work with individuals facing a wide range of difficulties and challenging situations, including:

- Anxiety and stress management

- Depression and mood disorders

- Trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder

- Relationship and family issues

- Self-esteem and confidence building

- Grief and loss

- Adjustment and life transitions

The number of therapy sessions required will vary depending on your specific needs and goals. After an initial assessment appointment, we will develop a personalized treatment plan and regularly review your progress towards achieving your individual goals.

Our appointment availability is as follows: face-to-face sessions are available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays by appointment only, while telehealth appointments (e.g., via Zoom) are available on Mondays and Fridays.

The fee for appointments is $230 (GST inclusive) for a 50-minute session. For longer appointments, such as initial consultations or psychological assessments, the fee is charged at $230 per hour or part thereof. Letters and reports are also charged at a rate of $230 per hour, with a minimum charge of $115.

Payment in full is required on the day of the appointment and can be made in cash or through direct debit. Some health insurance organizations may offer funding for consultations with registered psychologists, so it's worth checking with your insurer.

Please note that appointments canceled or missed with less than 24 hours' notice will be charged the full fee. This policy ensures that the appointment time can be offered to another client in need.
