Roselands Doctors
About the Business
Welcome to Roselands Doctors, a trusted family medical center located in Papakura, South Auckland. For many years, our institution has been providing healthcare to the community, starting as a solo practice with Dr Allen, Dr Robertson, and Dr Tim Kenealy. In the late 80's, Dr Mary Daly joined the practice and it became Coles Crescent Medical. In 1998, we moved to our current location in the Roselands Shopping Centre, where we have a purpose-built facility to cater to the needs of our patients.
At Roselands Doctors, we have expanded from a solo practice to a team of 6 to 7 doctors, offering a wide range of medical services. Our doctors are vocationally registered as Fellows of the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners or in training towards becoming Fellows. They are highly qualified and experienced in providing comprehensive healthcare to people of all ages.
As a cornerstone accredited general practice, we are committed to delivering high-quality healthcare to our patients. We are proud to be part of the Papakura community and offer a range of benefits for enrolled patients, including lower-cost GP visits, cheaper prescriptions, access to free doctor and nurse consultations for certain medical conditions, and many more.
If you have recently traveled overseas and are experiencing symptoms of flu, fever, shortness of breath, or cough, we kindly ask you not to book online. Instead, please call Healthline at 08003585453 for advice or speak to our nurses for guidance regarding medical attention.
To join our practice, it is necessary to be enrolled at a medical practice due to current capitation funding in New Zealand. Our friendly staff will be happy to assist you with the enrollment process and answer any questions you may have.
Located at 13 O'Shannessey Street in Papakura, we are conveniently situated within the Roselands Shopping Centre. Our central location ensures easy access for our patients.
We are also proud to be an accredited teaching practice, hosting medical students from the University of Auckland, nursing students, and GP registrars. This allows us to contribute to the training and development of future healthcare professionals.
At Roselands Doctors, we strive to provide excellent healthcare services to our community. You can book an appointment online, order repeat prescriptions, and check your results through our user-friendly website.
Thank you for choosing Roselands Doctors as your trusted healthcare provider. We look forward to serving you and your family's medical needs.

"Great people that you deal with either on the phone or at the desk always found doctor there to be top class"
"Dr S harris is the best, superb most efficient and excellent dr who gets to the point only come to this clinic specifically for Dr Harris. Receptionist seem impossible to reach ive called numerous times for 2 days and there line is busy.. i have patience but really think this clinic needs to upgrade to health 365. Never had a problem with Dr harris's receptionist when it was down the stairs."
"Stay away from Dr kaursha Ramsay. She put my mother into a state of panic saying I was going to die at about 830 tonight but she was reading tests from one or 2 weeks ago…learn to read the date on the test and try not to instal terror in my family and do a better job or stay away from me and my family"
"Every single time we’ve been here, we’ve seen the most friendly and helpful doctors. Currently Dr Andrew and Dr Karusha, I would highly recommend them."
"I am a regular as I require fortnightly injections and a high level of GP care. As a 30 year old female who has spent some time being incredibly ill over the last year, the team has been nothing short of exceptional during extremely trying times. They are always run off their feet but do so with a smile and understanding. Sometimes you have to wait, but their wait times really aren’t too bad compared to other medical offices I have been to. I imagine it means they are giving time and care to the people who really need it. The offices are always clean, tidy and adhering to covid rules. They are very accommodating, and will always get an answer to you. Very professional and a good range of experience across all the GPs. I personally have Tom Martin as my main GP this year and he has been outstanding, and humble enough when something is beyond him to refer me to a specialist, but still follow up to ensure I’m getting the care I require. The only fault of the clinic would be one GP, Dr Mary Kanjirathinkal. I would recommend avoiding her completely unless it’s a simple cold/something you need antibiotics for. She misdiagnosed and mismanaged my care numerous times, I have notes down on my file as I refuse to see her under any circumstances."
