"Rude cashier with no customer service at all. We went there around 7pm and want to buy something at Lim Chhour Supermarket, when we come to the cashier, the female with short hair like at me unpolitely. I showed her my student ID and she said “the egg that you bought cannot be discounted”, when I asked her “your supermarket said everything can be discounted with student ID”, she then show her inpatient face with ticking at the screen and said”that’s what our boss said, I’m just following the rule”. This is not my first time experienced this at Lim Chhour supermarket. Last time I went their in the evening, I bought not only the egg but also other things like pork mince, sauce, and some vegetables, when we went to the cashier, the same female cashier scanned all the things and let me paid for them, I was totally shocked that I’ve already showed you my student ID but your give me no discount. When I brought my receipt back to her and ask her why I did not have student discount, she said”I already ticked the student discount option but no discount shown up, I have no idea”, with rude attitudes. I think I will never go to this supermarket or recommend to others anymore unless train your cashier, at least let her know what CUSTOMER SERVICE and POLITE is. Besides, if you don’t want to give student discount, please don’t put that sign at the front of your cashier. Really bad experience……super disappointed cuz I used to be your loyal customer:("
"I was a regular customer in this supermarket for the past ten years. The staff there were not that friendly but generally Ok, as they were at least doing their job. However, since you guys hired a new staff earlier this year (an Asian-looking female with short hair, in her early 50s, Mandarin-speaking), I was totally disappointed. We asked this staff to double check the price of one of the products which we should have a student discount (as written in your supermarket). Guess what? She refused to check (that product does have a discount with student ID and is NOT on special!!). When we asked for our receipt, she pretended not to hear it. We had to raise our voice and ask again. After two minutes, she then slowly provided us the receipt with a stinky look on her face (Are we not allowed to get our receipt??). What's more interesting is that after she gave us the stinky look, she then turned around and smiled to the following customer who is an European-looking guy (Do I have to be European-looking to get a smile? Is that your policy?) I just cannot believe you guys would ever hire someone like her. We do deserve an apology from that staff and you guys. Please train your staff well!! I am not asking you guys to treat the customers like the god, but at least like the human being."
"I am writing to express my deep frustration and disappointment with the rude and disrespectful behavior of a cashier at Lim Chour Supermarket. During my two visits, the cashier scanned items carelessly, showing a complete lack of respect. On my first visit, they did not utter a single word and behaved as if I didn't exist. On my second visit, they handled the scanning process with complete disregard, throwing items around as if they were inconsequential. I have decided never to return to your supermarket due to this appalling experience."
"Its a mix of western food and Asian with the accent strongly on asian foods. Quite a large place with multiple checkouts. Packaged food on the right hand side and vegetables/frozens on the left as you walk in. Everything is quite well spaced out and shopping baskets are provided. You need to walk through a food court to get there which means it's not obvious, I just spotted it walking past."
"I went today in Lim Chour, it is not my first time buy there. I bought there last 2018. I am actually a regular costumer back then. But i think it will be my last time today. The cashier is rude. She's super rude. It was my first time to be treated that way. She's making an expression that she's irritated with me because she had to punched the price again. Since it was my first time to use a new debit card, i actually forgot how to use it since it was 2018. I actually said sorry many times and she so rude. now, im back here in Nz and i am about recommend the store to someone but because of what happened to i will not do that anymore. Your cashier must be friendly and respectful to us costumers. Before all your cashier are friendly."
