"Novice sellers be aware. Someone is making money at Encore and it's not the naive - yes, that's what I was - person who took an item in to be sold, the very first and probably my last time of going through a Recycled Boutique. My brand new, leather bag bought in Florence, Italy sold for $107 but I only received $38.30! The staff were most empathetic, prattling on about the T&C's which after this experience I have since read other reviews and it seems the owner of this business has no empathy and simply quotes them, and is busy making $$$ and very uncaring."
"Really disappointed, took a beautiful pair of leather trousers for them to sell, they were returned with what looks like scissor mark cuts on the leg. When I notified Encore all I got was a "Sorry, Encore". I've been going to Encore as a customer since it was in the arcade back in the 80s/90's. When I emailed again to say it would be nice for the damage to be acknowledged I was told to "Read the Ts and Cs, Encore" - very unprofessional. Clearly someone needs lessons in customer service."
