About the Business
Welcome to Unichem Sandringham Pharmacy, located at 2 Kitchener Road, Auckland, New Zealand. As an establishment dedicated to health and wellness, we are proud to be a trusted pharmacy and point of interest in the community.

We are excited to announce that prescriptions are now free at our pharmacy, thanks to a recent government initiative. Starting from 1st July 2023, the $5 co-payment charge for prescriptions from approved providers has been eliminated. This means you can now receive your fully funded medicines for free, along with professional health care and advice from our knowledgeable staff.
In addition to our pharmacy services, we also offer consultations for minor health conditions. Our team of experts is here to provide you with the care and guidance you need for any health concerns you may have.
As flu season approaches, getting your flu vaccine is crucial in staying well. Influenza can easily spread through talking, coughing, and sneezing, but with the flu vaccine, you can protect yourself and those around you.
We understand the importance of protecting vulnerable individuals, such as newborns or adults with existing health conditions. That's why we offer vaccinations for whooping cough (pertussis), a highly contagious bacterial respiratory disease. By getting vaccinated, you can help prevent the spread of this serious illness.
COVID-19 vaccinations and boosters are also available at our participating Unichem and Life Pharmacies. Boosters are now available to anyone 16 years and older, with specific timelines for different age groups. Please check with our pharmacy for the availability of pediatric vaccinations.
To make managing your health easier, we offer the FREE Unichem & Life Pharmacy App. With this app, you can conveniently order repeat prescriptions, receive medication reminders, and even manage the medications of your loved ones.
Flu vaccinations are now available at many Unichem Pharmacies across New Zealand. Some of our pharmacies can administer flu shots to children aged 3 years and over. If you have any questions about influenza in children or the flu vaccine, we are here to provide you with the answers you need.
We understand that accessing healthcare can be challenging at times, which is why we offer HouseCall, a convenient online GP service. With HouseCall, you can connect with an experienced doctor from the comfort of your own home, at a time that suits you.
In situations where contraceptive failure or unprotected sex has occurred, we offer emergency contraceptive pills (ECP) to reduce the risk of pregnancy. Our knowledgeable staff can provide you with the necessary information and support during this potentially stressful time.
Need passport photos that meet New Zealand Government regulations? Look no further! Our digital photo service ensures that your passport photos are compliant and meet all requirements. Our trained teams will ensure that your photos are taken in a hygienic and safe environment.
For those experiencing sniffles and sneezes, we have a handy table to help you determine whether it's a cold or hayfever. This can provide you with some clarity and guide you towards the appropriate treatment.
If you're planning an overseas trip, we have a simple guide to give you peace-of-mind before you go. It covers important aspects such as travel vaccinations and medication management to ensure a safe and healthy journey.

Reviews
"Staff is usually very respectful and convenient and they run postage there till 4pm every weekday. It's inconvenient they close on weekends, otherwise they're quite a reliable pharmacy to go to"
"Called today at 9.25 am asking for my repeat prescription. The pharmacist Sounds like she just had a bad morning. She was so abrupt on the phone and rude. She told me if i dont like their pharmacy service i can go somewhere else. I asked if she was the owner she replied yes. I think she lied!! regardless she was the owner or not it was extremely stupid to tell customers to go elsewhere because there are strong and fierce competitions out there !! Its Your lost because myself and my family will go elsewhere where we appreciated."
"I wish there was an option to give zero stars. You must update your store hours on google. Not at all convenient for customers. I urgently had to pick up medicines on my prescription but the pharmacy was closed."
"Does not know to respect customers. The Owner lady was so rude when I gave a feedback. Lot of Indians come to New Zealand but their attitude does not change. They think and talk as if they own the country. Treating employees like slaves. I do not recommend this pharmacy as they don't respect all the customers from different background. Very very bad ATTITUDE."
"What sets them apart from other pharmacies is the friendly & fast service. The people behind the counter are awesome. The recent addition to their service portfolio is the NZ Post facility. They have the relevant postal courier bags (check photo) of different sizes available for both local & international destinations. Tracking at additional $1 for local post can also be availed. This is an excellent option for the local residents since the NZ Post at St. Lukes mall has shut its doors! Also available is the facility for photographs for passports and similar documents."
