At Seaview Therapeutics, our licensed massage therapist, Marion, brings over twenty-five years of experience to provide exceptional treatments. Originally from New Zealand, Marion received her massage training in Miami, Florida, and worked at the prestigious Fontainebleau Hilton Hotel Spa on Miami Beach for over four years. She then ventured to Japan, where she spent sixteen years studying Japanese therapeutic treatments, including beauty therapy and massage. After returning to New Zealand in 2005, Marion worked locally for four years at Mana Natural Health & Beauty and That's Better, Holistic Health, before establishing her own home clinic in Titahi Bay in 2015.

Marion's passion for holistic health and her desire to learn traditional massage and therapeutic treatments from different countries have taken her on incredible journeys. Each year, she travels overseas for a month to expand her knowledge and skills. In 2017, she spent three weeks in Chiang Mai, Northern Thailand, studying Thai facial and body massage, immersing herself in the local herbs and massage techniques. During this time, Marion had the privilege of studying with a blind teacher who had dedicated forty years to massage therapy in a rehabilitation hospital. In 2018, she traveled to Pondicherry, South India, to further her understanding of Ayurvedic treatments and oils. In 2019, Marion revisited Thailand to explore Thai aroma massage and Thai foot massage, and also had the opportunity to experience traditional massage in Kuching, Borneo.

At Seaview Therapeutics, Marion utilizes a combination of Swedish, Chinese, Thai, Japanese, and Indian techniques, tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. Using therapeutic oils, including coconut oil, Marion aims to release tension and pain in the hands and feet, promoting overall wellbeing. Our rejuvenating facial massages incorporate organic oils, creams, hydrating masks, and advanced techniques such as steam, Ayurvedic Bronze Kansa wand, and LED light therapy. We also offer cutting-edge non-invasive facial treatments for skin rejuvenation and anti-aging.

In addition to massage therapy, Marion is a certified Reiki Master, offering the opportunity to access a place of stillness and healing within oneself. She also provides Reiki training, including Reiki 1, 2, and 3 courses.
