This initial appointment may take up to an hour, allowing us to gain a comprehensive understanding of your needs.

If we determine that our services are the best fit for you, we will work collaboratively to develop a personalized treatment plan. Our dedicated team of professionals will support you throughout your journey and help you implement the plan effectively.

However, if we believe that another service would better meet your needs, we will provide you with the necessary guidance and support to access that service. We are committed to ensuring that you receive the most appropriate care and support for your mental health needs.

In addition to direct treatment, we offer specialist support and advice to your GP, enabling them to provide you with the best possible care for your mental health needs. We believe in a holistic approach to mental health, and collaboration with your GP is an integral part of our service.

At Community Mental Health, we also provide community-based crisis respite and recovery houses. These facilities offer a safe and supportive environment for individuals in need of temporary respite and assistance in their recovery journey. Additionally, we have a dedicated crisis respite and recovery house based at Wairarapa Hospital.
