Welcome to the Shaolin NPC Training Centre Wellington, located at 125 Johnsonville Road in Wellington, New Zealand. Our establishment is not only a health-focused institution but also a point of interest for those seeking to explore the rich traditions of Shaolin Kung Fu.

If you are in the Avondale area, you can also visit our Avondale Training Centre, which opened its doors in May 2021 at Avondale Primary School on Crayford Street West. Conveniently situated next to Avondale Train Station, with bus stops just a short 2-minute walk away, our training centre is easily accessible for everyone.

We proudly serve all suburbs of Wanganui, as well as the wider district from Patea, Waverley, Turakina, Whangaehu, and Marton. Our Tairangi School hall training facility offers ample off-street parking, cozy heating for the winter months, and plenty of space to train. In fact, we even have outdoor areas for those times when we want to mix things up and enjoy the fresh air.

At Johnsonville NPC, we cater to individuals of all ages and skill levels. Our training programs are divided into three age groups: PeeWee (4-6 years), Children (7-12 years), and Teen/Adult (13 years and above). No matter your age or experience, you will find a welcoming and supportive environment to learn and grow.

Our venue boasts a spacious training area and an outdoor space, allowing for a variety of training methods. We proudly serve the communities of Newtown, Brooklyn, Wellington Central, Kelburn, Kilbirnie, Berhampore, Island Bay, and Lyall Bay.

The lineage of Shaolin Kung Fu can be traced back to the renowned Shaolin temple in Northern China, where Bodhidharma and the Shaolin monks laid its foundation. Over the course of 1500 years, Shaolin Kung Fu evolved and gave rise to various styles within the system. Our tradition specifically traces its roots to Seh Koh San, a monk from the Southern Shaolin tradition in Fujian, and the Chief Abbot of Siong Lim temple in Singapore.
