"This is a wonderful, well cared for place. Michael and his staff keep the place looking great and the rooms are extremely clean and provisioned. I stayed in 3 of the rooms over 2 and a half weeks and found them all very comfortable and quiet with everything I needed. This included a generous free wifi internet connection so I could stream my TV shows etc in the great TV receivers he provides."
"I surprisingly enjoyed my stay here. Although the room furnishings are old they do give you a homely feel. It's great to have big cups to drink from for a change. Lots of hot water and it's great to hang up the t towels in the hot water cupboard. The owner is very friendly and the motel sits in a stunning native nz bush surrounding on one side. The prices are very reasonable. Although out of the way it is stunningly quiet. No truck or traffic noises.Cheers to the owner."
