"We love the cabinet food and this place is so good to have in Tawa. However, the staff were not concerned at all that there was a hair in my food this morning. We were offered nothing to compensate for a $20 breakfast that had a few bites taken out of it. We were just given a grumbled ‘sorry’ as we left. We want to support your local business - but don’t want to pay for something like that."

"Excellent cafe in Tawa. Great selection of cabinet food, and good options on the menu too. Efficient and friendly service. Only small downside is there are only about 10 tables inside, and a couple of tables outside. Most tables seating two people, with a high table seating about 6 or 8, so getting a table at lunchtime could be a challenge as the cafe does get quite busy. Top marks, well worth visiting..."

"excellent experience in service and quality of food, everything was incredibly tasty, very fresh and also smelt great. the aroma of freshly brewed coffee and freshly baked scones filled the café - which was noticeably clean too, which is a major plus in my books! very recommendable!"
