"I had an accident in September which involved chipping my front tooth. I went to see the dentist here for treatment which they were happy to provide through ACC. They didn’t communicate with me that I would need to follow up with ACC for the treatment coverage on the day of consultation. To be honest, I was even happy to pay for it straight out of my pocket. I’ve been without treatment for a whole month. Calling ACC relentlessly, calling the dentist for updates or for advice. To getting a rude slam down over the phone from the dentist herself. Like? No empathy at all? Today 4th November- a whole month after seeing this practice, I walk into a Kelston dentist down the road from me for a consultation. They offer to fix it on the spot (which obviously I did) and they did the ACC paperwork for me. So there you go. Always look at options and never allow people to make you feel small."
