In the summer of 2016, we embarked on a mission to find the perfect dairy-free ice cream to beat the heat. To our surprise, there weren't many options available. That's when Girls & Boys was born, with a simple purpose: to create the best plant-based gelato in Melbourne.
At Girls & Boys, we take pride in our exclusive range of flavors, all made in-house by our extraordinary ice cream connoisseurs. We carefully craft our gelato in small batches, ensuring that every scoop is fresh and delicious, straight from the machine to you.
You can choose from a variety of options, including single or double scoops, with the option to add toppings like chocolate fudge sauce, brownie bits, nuts, caramel sauce, cookie chunks, or buckini clusters. For those with gluten sensitivities, we also offer gluten-free cones for an additional cost.
One of our specialties is the double choc, where you get to pick your choice of gelato sandwiched between two chunky cookies. It's a heavenly treat that will satisfy even the most discerning sweet tooth.

"This dessert place offers ice cream, cakes, ice cream cakes, cookies, ice cream sandwiches, sundaes, milkshakes and more! All kinds of cold, vegan desserts! Staff is friendly and lets you sample ice cream flavors, if you can't decide. Overall, the taste of what I had here was okay. A bit too sweet for me. But maybe your sweet tooth will like it better! The colorful store is located directly next to the restaurant called Vegie Bar. There are only a few seats indoors."
