Welcome to M&W Engine Services PTY LTD, located at 821B Howitt Street, Wendouree, Australia. As a leading car repair establishment and point of interest, we are proud to offer a complete in-house reconditioning facility that can custom rebuild all types of engines.

With a rich history dating back to 1984, our highly qualified team at M&W possesses an unparalleled wealth of knowledge. We have worked on a wide range of engines, from iconic "T" Model Fords to rare vintage and classic cars of all makes. Additionally, we specialize in custom engines for race, road, water, agricultural machinery, and commercial applications.

Our factory workshop is a spacious and clean environment specifically designed for precision cleaning and machining of cylinder heads, engine blocks, and all engine components. We assemble engines in our purpose-built clean engine room and are capable of carrying out TIG welding repairs and modifications, as well as all types of engine balancing.

At M&W, we are particularly skilled in cylinder head reconditioning and custom modifications. Utilizing our modern SERDI valve seat cutting equipment, we can perform multi-angle custom seat cuts for every head. Furthermore, our engine reconditioning services include crankshaft grinding, line honing, block boring and honing, conrod and engine assembly.

We take great pride in our engine restoration projects and are eager to tackle engines of all ages. Before estimating the cost, most engines will need to be dismantled, hot tanked, and inspected. As a custom engine re-conditioner, we assess each job on its individual merits. For more common engines, we can provide a firmer price.

Typically, a straightforward job takes approximately 7 to 10 working days to complete. However, the timeframe may vary depending on part availability and the complexity of the job.

To ensure customer satisfaction, we offer an 18-month/30,000km warranty for gas engines and a 24-month/40,000km warranty for petrol engines. Please note that for warranty to be applicable, the vehicle must be inspected by one of our dyno tuning partners to ensure proper installation and addressing of all accessory items.

Engines will require a certain amount of time to run in, which depends on the type of rings used and the specific usage of the engine. Our engines must be run in using our Penrite running-in oil, which typically remains in the engine for the first 6-800 km.
