We would also like to share some recent updates in New Zealand's immigration landscape. Starting from April 2021, up to 1,000 priority returning international students and their families will be allowed to continue their studies in New Zealand. Additionally, a new 3-check employer-assisted visa application system will be introduced in mid-2021, streamlining the process. The length of time visitors can study in New Zealand without needing to apply for a visa variation or a student visa has been extended. Changes to the Essential Skills Work visa category have been implemented since July 27, 2020. Moreover, specific criteria have been established to determine eligibility for exceptions as "other critical workers."
