Welcome to Central Regional Health School, located at 234 Wakefield Street, Wellington, New Zealand. As an establishment and point of interest, we are dedicated to providing high-quality educational services to tamariki and rangatahi with high health needs, as well as those residing in Oranga Tamariki residences.

At Central Regional Health School, we believe in enriching hauora (wellbeing) through partnership and innovation. Our teachers, located at various sites across the lower North Island, offer a range of educational options tailored to meet the individual needs of our students. While they may only be with us for a short period of time, unable to attend their regular school fulltime, we ensure their learning continues in line with their peers through personalized programs.

We understand that transitions are a part of life, and some of our students may move on to further education, tertiary courses, or career pathways. We are here to support them every step of the way. If you have any questions or require further information, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.

To our students and whānau (family): we understand that the current Covid-19 situation brings about new requirements and changes regularly. Rest assured, we stay updated on the ongoing health and education notifications and will inform you promptly of any changing requirements related to the school through our dedicated local staff.

Our academic year is divided into four terms: Term 1 runs from 31st January to 6th April, Term 2 from 24th April to 30th June, Term 3 from 17th July to 22nd September, and Term 4 from 9th October to 14th December.
