"My wife went to Henderson Sketches on Saturday 21/01/23 and came and got me as the sales girl said there was a 40% sale on. I went back to the store with my wife and was initially served by an attractive girl with a pleasant smile (same one that served my wife in the first instance). The sale (two pairs of shoes $209.98) was completed by the other sales girl with the rude demeanor. My wife asked nicely if we could leave the boxes behind and she said if we didn't take the boxes it would void the warranty. I'm very familiar with the Consumer Guarantees Act and I know shop assistance don't get the opportunity to make up the terms of the Act to customers, and there is no mention of shoe boxes voiding the guarantee if left behind. Adding insult to the lies about the warranty being void, the 40% has turned into 20%. I don't appreciate being lied to and would like a refund for the missing 20%. We are considering returning the shoes under the 30 day return policy. The Star is for my patience in dealing with a miserable liar, plus I needed to give the star to complete the post. Will go to Westgate next time."
