Sal's Authentic NY Pizza New Lynn

"Food is standard Sals but they WILL forget half your order as they have to us four times. If you pick up, check your order BEFORE you leave! If you order delivery, good luck - they won't organise to deliver the rest, they won't give you a free delivery coupon to place a small order so the rest of your order can be delivered, instead they'll ask you to come to the store for the missing items "plus some free stuff", or if you ask for a refund, they'll tell you to come in as they can "only do cash refunds". On the plus side the staff are lovely and incredibly apologetic, they just have no processes in place to actually deal with this consistent issue. This time it was a $112 order and $42 worth of it was not delivered. If you have the option, order from a different Sals, this one will consistently waste your time. UPDATE 1: I went to the store the next day and was then told that they COULD do a bank transfer and had to email the store manager."

"Don't order delivery from this store - they will forget things from your order (this has happened multiple times). They will ask you to come INTO the store for your refund. When you get to their store, they will instead ask you to email their manager for your refund. The manager will then ignore your emails. The food is expensive, so this is not an insignificant amount of money that was essentially stolen from us. All you had to do was send us the missing part of our order that was paid for, or refund us."

"Really unfortunate because I really enjoyed sals so much. Called and ordered a pizza because there was the Facebook deal for garlic knots on. They informed me to do it online to get the deal. I did that and entered the code and everything seemed fine on my end so I went to collect it. When reaching the guy was like oh we didn’t get the code for it. I’m just frustrated because they didn’t offer any solution to it other than “yep sorry” although he could have called an informed me of this before collecting it. Really disappointing as I don’t think I’ll be ordering from sals again"

"Ordered online, staff couldn't find my order, when I showed my email confirmation it was suddenly "2 minutes away". Sat down, watched the staff working heavily distracted because they were chatting to their mates over the line. 15 minutes later, I ask about my order, then they found it on top of the oven. Got home 5 minutes later and it was luke-warm. Disappointmenting. Apparently they don't bother calling names when your order is ready, you've just got to guess if the pizza they're boxing is yours. Great use of $52. Terrible service."

"First off very clean and tidy restaurant with really good sounds pumping which I absolutely enjoyed. The staff were fantastic and very welcoming also very informative of the food items they serve here. The pizzas here are well worth the money and are very tasty cooked well and all. I'd without a doubt recommend this place if your craving a great pizza and good vibe experience too."
