Reviews
"Love checking their webcam that looks out towards the South Island"
"I visited for one of the Open Days. The Salt water feely pools were pretty good. One was able to get up close with viewing things through the microscopes which was really interesting. The chats to the researchers about their studies was also enlightening."
"Brilliant, informative open day with great hands-on areas. The feely pools were fantastic, being able to get up close with the wildlife, and viewing things through the microscopes was really interesting. A highlight was the microscopic baby kina, who even though they were so incredibly tiny, they were still reaching their tiny arms out. So cute! My teenage daughter is considering studying marine biology, and this really sparked her desire to take her career in this direction. Thank you!"
"Great place! Nice building, well equipped, excellent team, in front of a wonderful rocky shore"
"Really interesting open days, where you get to chat to the researchers about their studies. Will worth bringing along the family for a look around the labs. Check website for details of when they occur."
