We are a veterinary care facility that specializes in providing cats with the holiday they deserve. Our cattery offers spacious, comfortable, and secure individual cages for sleeping and eating. In addition, we have four separate outdoor areas where cats can play, stretch, and scratch to their heart's content. After all, we all know that cats don't do much else with their day!

At Homelands, we believe in providing the best care for your furry friends, which includes feeding them only the finest foods. Our cats are treated to a balanced meal consisting of Iams Premium biscuits and tinned food. But we don't just cater to cats - we also have tailor-made solutions for dogs. If you don't want to leave your valued pet at home during the day or if your neighbors are getting grumpy, we have you covered. Simply drop off your dog before work and pick them up after work at our convenient location close to State Highway 59 between Plimmerton and Pukerua Bay. We will take care of your pets and ensure they get the exercise they need.

Our motto for dogs is "just as happy to see us as they are to see you." Many of our canine guests consider Homelands as their second home. As soon as the car turns into Airlie Road, they know they're in for a treat! We cater to all types of dogs and have large outdoor play areas with natural grass where they can socialize with other dogs. Yes, this may mean your dog gets a little muddy, especially during the winter, but that's what dogs love, right? And if your dog prefers to be alone, that's perfectly fine too. We have enough flexibility with our exercise areas to cater to individual needs.

When it comes to dining, our canine guests enjoy only the finest cuisine. They are treated to Mighty Mix meal biscuits, a natural New Zealand made product, as well as Iams Premium biscuits mixed with dog roll for a taste sensation!

At Homelands, we welcome dogs of all sizes and breeds. We ensure that even the smaller ones get to socialize and play in our "Day Play Groups" instead of being alone. We not only offer overnight stays but also provide day care options, both regular and casual, so you can focus on work without worrying about what your dog is up to at home.

For your convenience, we also have a dog bath facility if you prefer your furry friend to have that freshly shampooed smell when you pick them up.
