Our swim school has a rich history that dates back to 1995 when Dean Greenwood himself started the institution at Mt Eden Pool. Even while setting up the school, Dean was producing top swimmers who were proudly representing New Zealand on the international stage. However, as the demands of managing a swim school and a competitive program became overwhelming, Dean made the decision to shift his focus away from competitive coaching.

Since then, Dean Greenwood Swim School has experienced remarkable growth. In 2004, we expanded our reach with new sites at Kelston, followed by New Windsor in 2006, and Massey in 2013. In 2019, we proudly opened our doors to our Sunnynook and Northcote locations, further extending our commitment to providing quality swimming education to the community.
