To get started, simply provide us with your details, and we will arrange a time for your interlock installation at your nearest service center. In most cases, we can have an alcohol interlock installed in your vehicle within 1-2 days.

An alcohol interlock is a breathalyzer device that is wired into your car's ignition, recording every start, stop, test result, violation, and kilometers driven. This data is available as a report for authorities to view. Before starting your vehicle, you will need to provide an alcohol-free breath sample. Once you pass the test, you can proceed to start your vehicle.

While driving, the interlock will randomly call for tests that must be taken to ensure sobriety. Failure to comply with these tests will be classified as a violation. Each month, you will need to visit a service center to have the data downloaded and the interlock calibrated. This process takes approximately 15 minutes, and the monthly payment is made during the service.

To avoid potential violations, we recommend using an accurate personal breathalyzer to check your alcohol level before blowing into your interlock. Using the interlock device itself as a testing tool may result in a violation, potentially extending the duration of your interlock installation.

If you are eligible for the alcohol interlock subsidy, the cost will be only $149 per month to lease an interlock. This subsidy covers the alcohol interlock license, installation, $50 per month towards the lease, removal, and your zero alcohol license at the end of the program. For those ineligible for the subsidy, the standard pricing is $199 per month, with additional fees for installation and removal.

When getting your interlock installed, you will need to pay the installation fee and your first monthly lease to the service center. Please note that additional fees may apply if you do not adhere to the program requirements.

The interlock device itself is similar in appearance to a breathalyzer and is attached to your vehicle. It is approximately the size of your hand and can be mounted on a clip on your dashboard or stored near your gear lever. It does not need to be visible to anyone outside your vehicle.

Rest assured that the interlock unit is only connected to the wiring under the dash and bonnet of your vehicle. At the end of the program, this wiring will be restored to its pre-installation conditions.
